We had a lovely holiday in Bodmin, Cornwall. A wet but very enjoyable few days.

I'm sure that you have days like these

When nothing goes quite right

When the dog chews up the daily post

And the kids do nowt but fight.

I'm sure that you have days like these

When the toast you grill is black

When the tea you drink has leaves in

And milk is the one thing that you lack.

I'm sure that you have days like these

When the laundry comes out pink

When you turn on the tap and get an overflow

And find there's Lego in the sink.

I'm sure that you have days like these

When everything you wear makes you look fat

When your hair just won't lie down straight

And you've no occasion for a hat.

I'm sure that you have days like these

When you argue with your boss

When your work just isn't up to scratch

And you just couldn't give a toss.

I'm sure that you have days like these

If you do, remember all that I've said

And if your day starts out like this

Sod ‘em all and go straight back to bed.

Only for a few days. But I so need it!

Not to mention the moors themselves! I never realised that Cornwall had such a wealth of things to do but I can't wait and I hope to have lots of photo's when I return. Take care till then my friends.

Ok I have decided that it's time for action, I read some of my recent past posts and saw how depressing they were so I have culled my blog.  I wanted to remove all of the blog entries but that has to be done one at a time and I don't know that I have the patience for that at the moment, I imagine it will be therapeutic though :)

I am so very sorry that this cannot be an individual wish to you all, I value each and every friend that I have made here on covenspace but on top of problems at work in the form of being a man down and having to cover - meaning having to work too many bloody hours! I have contracted flu! Twice in as many months can you believe?! Anyway please excuse my lack of contact, I will make it up to you all but for now I just want to sleep  Woe is me :(
